How to Delete Your Account

Account deletion is initiated from inside the Kaivro mobile app. To delete your account:

• Open the Kaivro mobile app on your device
• Navigate to your account settings
• Select the option to delete your account
• Re-authenticate when prompted for security purposes
• Confirm your deletion request

After you initiate account deletion, there is a 7-day grace period during which you can undo the deletion and restore your account. During this period, your account and data remain accessible, but the deletion process has been scheduled.

After the 7-day grace period expires, your account and associated data will be permanently deleted. Once this final deletion occurs, it cannot be undone and your data cannot be recovered.

Alternative Deletion Request via Email

If you are unable to access the mobile app, you may request account deletion by email. Send an email to support@kaivro.com with the following:

• Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
• Required information:
  • Your account email address
  • An explicit statement requesting account deletion

We will process email deletion requests in accordance with the same timeline and grace period as app-initiated deletions.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data associated with your account will be permanently removed:

• Account and authentication information
• Profile and preferences
• Measurements and health-related entries
• Workout, nutrition, and habit logs
• Uploaded images and files
• Analytics identifiers associated with your account

Once deletion is finalized after the grace period, this information cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have exported or saved any data you wish to keep before initiating account deletion.

What Data May Be Retained

Some data may be retained where required or permitted by law, including:

• Data necessary to comply with legal and compliance obligations
• Data needed for security and fraud prevention purposes
• Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you

Deletion Timeline

When you initiate account deletion:

• The deletion process begins immediately after you confirm your request
• You have 7 days to undo the deletion and restore your account
• After the 7-day grace period expires, deletion is finalized and cannot be undone
• Final deletion is typically completed within 30 days of the grace period expiration

During the grace period, you can access your account and data normally. After the grace period expires, your account will be permanently deleted and all associated data will be removed from our systems.
