Start a workout in seconds. Open the app, tap "Start Workout", and begin logging. Add exercises using natural language - just describe what you're doing and our AI identifies the exercise automatically.

Track every set with precision. Log weight, reps, time, or distance depending on the exercise type. Mark sets as warm-up, working, or failure sets to keep your training data meaningful.

Built-in rest timer. When you complete a set, a countdown timer appears automatically. Adjust time on the fly with quick +15s/-15s buttons, or skip when you're ready.

See your last performance. When you select an exercise, instantly see what you lifted last time. No more guessing what weight to load - your history is right there.

Add notes as you go. Record form cues, equipment settings, or anything you want to remember for next time.

Create routines your way. Build custom routines by adding exercises through our AI detection. Drag to reorder, remove what you don't need.

Quick access to favorites. Star your go-to routines and find them instantly on your dashboard.

One tap to start. See your most-used routines as swipeable cards. Tap to see details, start with a single action.

Repeat past workouts. Found a workout that worked? Tap any completed session and repeat it instantly.

Comprehensive History

Calendar view. See your training frequency at a glance. Days with workouts are highlighted, making it easy to spot patterns and consistency.

Detailed workout logs. Every session is saved with complete details: exercises performed, sets and reps, weights lifted, duration, and your effort rating.

Smart grouping. Workouts are organized by date with intelligent labels - "Today", "Yesterday", or the day of the week for recent sessions.

Volume tracking. Total volume lifted is calculated automatically for every workout, helping you track progressive overload over time.

Progress Insights

Exercise frequency. See which exercises you perform most often and track your consistency.

Muscle balance. Visual breakdown of which muscle groups you're training, helping identify imbalances before they become problems.

Weekly overview. Quick calendar showing your training days for the current week.

How It Works

Starting a Workout

  1. Tap Start Workout on the dashboard
  2. Add exercises by describing them (e.g., "bench press", "pull ups", "30 second plank")
  3. Log your sets as you complete them
  4. Mark exercises done when finished
  5. End workout and rate your effort

Creating a Routine

  1. Go to View All Routines
  2. Tap the + button
  3. Name your routine
  4. Add exercises using AI detection
  5. Drag to reorder as needed
  6. Save and it's ready to use

Viewing History

  1. Tap View All in Recent Workouts
  2. Switch between list and calendar views
  3. Tap any workout to see full details
  4. Use the calendar to navigate to specific dates

Set Types Explained

  • Working Sets - Your main training sets that count toward volume
  • Warm-up Sets - Preparation sets (tracked separately from working volume)
  • Failure Sets - Sets taken to muscular failure (useful for intensity tracking)

Supported Exercise Types

Kaivro supports all common exercise modalities:

  • Weight + Reps - Barbell, dumbbell, machine exercises
  • Bodyweight + Reps - Pull-ups, push-ups, dips
  • Time-based - Planks, isometric holds
  • Distance - Running, rowing, cycling

The app automatically shows the right input fields based on the exercise type.
